What do I see
Through my eyes
Is it the same
As you do
Or is it a totally
Different perception
I guess we will
Just have to wait
And see the truth

Can I make see
Through my eyes
The pain
The heartbreak
The missed opportunities
That has went
Through these eyes

Sure I smile
And tell you
Everything is fine
But one day
Through my eyes
Your perception
May change what reality
Happens to be

Is something no one
Should want to see
For the pain
Through my eyes
Never ends without
Wiping a tear from them

Betrayal And Trust

In the greater scope of life
Somethings you can forgive
And even forget about
Betrayal and trust
Is one thing I cannot

When you trust someone
Getting betrayed by them
Cuts deeper than
Any knife ever could
The wounds will never heal
From the damage
They have cause
But I have no one to blame
For this except myself

As I sit here
I just get more upset
Knowing someone I cared for
Put a wound right where
It hurts the most in my heart

I will survive I always do
The pain though will
Forever be etched in
My mind and heart
